RED HOT HARP AMP RIG Vintage Tube Amplifier plus Jensen 4x8 speaker cab. Single ended 6L6. Smokin' Fat Harp Tone. David Bogen CH8 amp w/3 prong grounded cord. Amp has 1/4' input jack installed on side. Contol knobs for bright, middle, and deep bass, etc. This baby is quiet, very very little hum. The pots are a little scratchy, but once you've dialed in, ITS HOT! Tubes are 6L6, 5y3, 6sj7, and 6av6. I will include the following additional tubes that can be swapped for power tubes for different performances: RCA blackplate 6V6, small coke bottle Sylvania 6l6, a large coke bottle RCA 6L6, and a regular RCA 6L6. The large coke bottle requires the top off amp to fit. The 6V6 must be used to get the Deep Bass function. You can decide which tubes provide the taste you like best. Overall amp portion is very clean, no rust, etc. There is a small dent in the lid. The cabinet is a handmade Jensen 4x8 blonde in color. 8 ohms wired in series parallel. Cabinet has a closed back which provides that extra Bass and 'Punch'. Very solid. The cabinet does show some bumps and bruises from being moved around, no abuse here.(circa 1961) Speakers numbers are:C80FC8335-220611 (two), C8RC6996-3-220234 (two). This rig is simply GREAT for HARP. You can turn well over half volume before feedback. Big, FAT, NIce Breakup, decent volume. 70 watts printed on amp chassis. I have used many different mics on this, the Astatic JT-30 works great.Obviously a Shure controlled reluctance mic rocks!
