Chromatica No. 263
Chromatica number 263 has 35 double holes (70 reeds) with a "blow" and a "draw" reed of the same pitch in each pair of holes, similar to a piano accordion. The range is from the third space below the treble clef to fourth space above, one step less than three complete chromatic octaves. Dance band leaders will find in this instrument an opportunity to add new and decidedly pleasing effects to their orchestrations that will be quickly noticed and appreciated by the dancers and listeners. |
